A shop assistant has been left badly shaken after being confronted by a woman wielding a suspected knife in a county Armagh store earlier today (Wednesday).
Around 12pm today a female walked into a Portadown store but was stopped – on suspicion of shoplifting – by a staff member as she tried exit the Church Street premises.
The video shows a staff member and a customer struggle with the woman in an attempt to keep her in the store before she (what appears to be) brandishes a knife in front of the pair.
She then makes off out out the front and onto Church Street.
Dandelion Lane Interiors posted the CCTV images and video of the suspect on their Facebook page asking for help in tracking the person.
The owner of the store confirmed to Armagh I that both women were unhurt but “badly shook up”.
