Watch: Brazen thief makes off with brand new E-bike from outside Portadown home

This is the moment a brazen thief walks up to a property in Portadown and makes off with a brand new electric bicycle in broad daylight.

The incident happened in the Corcrain estate just before 3pm last Tuesday, November 22.

The Engwe Engine Pro bike, which was only 10 days old, was stolen as its owner paid a brief visit to a relative in the area.

The bike (model pictured above) is valued at £1,300 but requires a key, which the thief did not take.

The male is described as wearing a blue puffa style jacket and grey tracksuit bottoms.

The owner, who is also offering a reward for information, is desperate to see it returned and has asked anyone who knows who this person in the footage may be to contact them on 07776430947 or 028 38988358 – or police directly.

A police spokesperson said: “Enquiries are continuing and police urge anyone who is offered a bike matching this description for sale in suspicious circumstances or any information in relation to this incident to get in touch, by contacting police on 101 and quoting reference number 1198 22/11/22.
