Police are currently in attendance at the scene of a road traffic collision in Portadown.
Road users have been advised to expect delays on Northway as a result of the crash which occurred close to the Asda turn off.
Police have confirmed (6pm) that the Northway “is now closed in both directions in order to facilitate emergency services attendance at a road traffic collision”.
One eye witness described it as a serious head-on collision.
A number of people were helping out at the scene before paramedics arrived.
Please avoid the area if possible and be careful driving this evening as Storm Jocelyn brings high winds – gusts up to 50mph – and heavy rain.
