Searches will continue today to help locate missing Portadown man Andrew Robinson, who has not been seen since the early hours of Saturday morning.

Andrew, who is around 50 years old, was last sighted at 1.10am on Saturday, November 15 in the Portadown area. He is described as being 5ft 6in in height, of medium build, with shaved grey hair.

He was last seen wearing dark blue jeans, black work boots, and a dark black coat. Family members believe he may also have been wearing a green hoodie underneath.

A police spokesperson said: “Anyone with information regarding Andrew’s whereabouts, or who may have seen him since the early hours of Saturday morning, is urged to contact police on 101, quoting reference 86-15/11/25.”

His family have issued emotional public appeals saying they are “desperate” for information that could help.

They said Andrew left home at around 1.10am and had not been in contact since. His vehicle was later found near the River Bann, prompting a large-scale search effort.

Throughout Saturday, police officers, Coastguard teams, boat crews and drone units were involved in extensive searches along the river and surrounding areas. Despite these efforts, Andrew has not yet been located.

A family member said they were “absolutely heartbroken”, adding that Andrew’s two sons “just want their dad home”.

They urged anyone who may have seen Andrew at any time since the early hours of Saturday to make contact “as soon as possible,” saying he is “missed beyond words”.

Police and family members are asking the public to check dash-cam footage, CCTV, outbuildings and any areas where a person might shelter.

Information can be passed to police on 101, quoting 86-15/11/25.
