Prominent Co Armagh businessman passes away while on holiday in France

A prominent Co Armagh businessman who died suddenly while on holiday in France will be laid to rest on Tuesday.

Albert Tedford, who was director at Richhill-based Fairline Kitchens, passed away suddenly last Monday, July 22.

The company made the sad announcement on the website, along with posting his funeral arrangements.

Mr Tedford’s funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 2pm in St. Columba’s Parish Church with committal following in Seagoe Cemetery.

From the Derrylettiff Road in Portadown, Mr Tedford, was the beloved and devoted husband of Norma, dearest father of Margaret and Rebecca, father-in-law of Andrew and Will.

Portadown FC paid their own tribute to a close friend of the Club.

“Everyone at Portadown FC are saddened to hear of the sudden death of supporter Albert Tedford. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time,” a spokesperson said.

The Fairline name has been manufacturing furniture in Richhill since 1896.
