Police are appealing for witnesses following an early evening burglary in Portadown earlier this week.
A house in the Oakleigh Park area of Portadown was burgled on Monday, November 20 some time between 6.15pm and 7.15pm.
A police spokesperson said: “We are appealing to anyone who was in the Oakleigh Park or Brownstown Road area of Portadown who may have noticed any suspicious persons or vehicles in the area between these times to contact police on 101 and quote serial 1666 of November 20, 2023.”
No arrests have been made.
It comes less than two weeks after a house in the Inglewood Manor area of the town – a mere few hundred yards away – was ransacked.
On that particular occasion, a quantity of cash and jewellery was stolen. The incident occurred at approximately the same time in the evening.
There is no indication, at this stage, to suggest these two incidents are linked.
