Police treat criminal damage of Portadown house as hate crime

It was reported that a number of items were thrown at the front door and the side of a house by three males in the area

Police are treating criminal damage at a house in Portadown as a hate crime.

And they are appealing for information following the incident in the Kernan Close area yesterday (Saturday).

Shortly after 5.20pm, it was reported that a number of items were thrown at the front door and the side of a house by three males in the area.

The males then made off on foot following the incident.

Enquiries are continuing and at this stage, the incident is being treated as a hate crime.
