Police to return to scene of collision which claimed life of Portadown teenager

Police are to return to the scene of a tragic road traffic collision in which a County Armagh teenager died last month.

Glen Montgomery, from the Richmount Road area of Portadown, lost his life after the incident on Sunday, April 16.

The single vehicle collision happened along the Moy Road, Portadown, at around 4.20am.

Mr Montgomery had been a pedestrian who was struck by a silver Skoda Superb car.

Tomorrow morning (Friday), officers from the PSNI’s Collision Investigation Unit, investigating the fatal road traffic collision, will return to the scene.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Testing at the scene will be carried out by officers and the road is expected to be closed between 9am and 11am, with diversions in place.

“We thank you for your patience as this work is carried out.”
