A motorist behind the wheel at 8.30am on Monday August 11 this year was found to be over the drink drive limit.
Arturas Puplauskas (39), of Wildwood in Portadown, was detected near his home by police.
He was slurring his words and when taken to custody had an alcohol in breath reading of 67 – the legal limit is 35.
The defendant pleaded guilty.
A defence solicitor said there was “no excuse” for the offence.
The defendant had previous offences including driving whilst unfit.
At Craigavon Magistrates’ Court the defendant was banned from driving for three years and was fined £300.
