Man suffers ‘significant injuries’ in attack outside Portadown hot food takeaway

Police are appealing for information after a man sustained “significant injuries” after being set upon outside a hot food takeaway in Portadown.

The incident happened last month but officers have now launched an appeal for witnesses to what they have described as a “serious assault”.

It happened at Thomas Street in Portadown shortly before 3am on Sunday, December 12.

Said a PSNI spokesperson: “It is reported that a male was standing outside a fast food takeaway on Thomas Street, Portadown when he was assaulted by another male in an unprovoked attack leading to significant injuries.
