
A man is due to appear in court on Monday following the discovery of an estimated £120,000 worth of cannabis in the Portadown area.
Detectives from the PSNI’s Organised Crime Branch made the discovery in the Broomhill area – between Portadown and Richhill – shortly before 1am on Saturday.
A 30-year-old man to court with a number of drugs offences.
He has been charged with cultivating cannabis, possession of a Class B controlled drug, possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply, being concerned in the supply of a Class B controlled drug, and dishonestly using electricity.
Police estimated the haul to have a street value of £120,000.
He is expected to appear before Lisburn Magistrates’ Court on Monday, October 6.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
