Just before 10am on Sunday, January 29, a man, wearing a mask and hood, entered the premises in the Ashgrove Road area of the town and threatened a member of staff with a knife.
The man is alleged to have ordered the shop assistant to open the till before making off with a sum of cash.
The man was subsequently arrested approximately 15 minutes later in the Ballyoran Park area of the town.
He is expected to appear before Lisburn Magistrates’ Court later today.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
