A county Armagh man has been found dead at a house in Banbridge.
Police are currently investigating the circumstances around the of death the man who was found in the Churchview area of the town on Sunday afternoon.
It’s understood the deceased man may have been from the Portadown area.
MP David Simpson told the Newsletter: “The area has been greatly saddened to learn of the loss of this young life. I wish to pass on my sincerest condolences to his friends and family.”
Police are looking into the possibility of drugs being involved in the incident.
Councillor Glenn Barr added: “This past few years the Banbridge area has had its fair share of sorrow through drugs and I truly thought young people were beginning to see sense. I am calling on the community to rally again and shop the dealers that are in our midst, we need community action to help the PSNI to arrest them.
“Drugs dealers are nothing more than disgusting little parasites living in our midst. We as a community need to rally round and support each other,” he added.
