A case involving historic sexual allegations including rape over a protracted period of time is to transfer to Crown Court for trial.
Sean Murray (41) from Dobbin Road, Portadown is accused of committing the offences against a female on dates between January 1998 and December 2001.
No details relating to the circumstances of the alleged offending were disclosed at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court where the case was listed for an update on progress.
A prosecuting lawyer advised matters are on track to move to the higher court and it is hoped a committal date for this can be fixed on July 14.
District Judge Francis Rafferty remanded Murray on continuing bail terms which includes no contact with the alleged victim, to return on that date
