
Four people were arrested and a “significant quantity” of stolen items recovered when police stopped a vehicle in Co Armagh on Monday.
Officers from the Road Policing Unit at Mahon Road made the seizure.
Police stopped the vehicle which they believed had been involved in a series of thefts in the Armagh, Lurgan and Banbridge area.
Police shared an image of the goods recovered which showed a large amount of Smirnoff vodka, razors, toiletries, cleaning products, nappies and children’s clothing.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “A significant quantity of stolen items were recovered from the vehicle and four arrests were made.”
One person has since been charged and will appear in court tomorrow (Wednesday), May 7.
The three others have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
