Football fan suffers broken leg in hit-and-run outside Portadown FC ground

A football fan suffered a broken leg following a hit and run outside Portadown FC’s Shamrock Park on Friday night.

Police are appealing for information and witnesses to come forward following the shocking incident which occurred on the Armagh Road in Portadown at around 9.40pm on October 17.

The injured man was taken to hospital, where he was treated for a broken leg.

Police have confirmed that an arrest has been made in connection with the incident, but enquiries are continuing.

Officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who was in the area at the time and may have dash-cam or CCTV footage, to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1635 of 17/10/25.
