A county Armagh woman was due in court on Friday charged with killing her friend in a car crash in 2012.
Claire Gough, 23, was not in attendance at Craigavon Magistrates’ with her defence solicitor saying she was receiving “respite care”.
The Portadown woman is accused of killing Katherine Kelly, 21, and injuring three more – Scott Houston, Daniel Dougan and Trevor Foster – by careless driving while unfit.
The case was adjourned for two weeks.
Katherine was on life support for several days before passing away. She donated her organs, one of which – her liver – saved the life of a dying baby.
The accused was also in critical condition at Belfast Royal before her recovery.
