A county Armagh man has scooped a whopping £4m on the National Lottery.
The lucky punter – from outside Portadown – pocketed the tax-free sum after taking the jackpot on a £10 scratchcard purchased in Lurgan.
He and his wife are also expecting their first baby in April.
He becomes Northern Ireland’s first big winner of 2016.
And it’s just days before Saturday’s record Lotto jackpot of £57.8m has to go.
New rules, which come into play when a jackpot passes £50 million, dictate that if no players match all six numbers the prize will be shared between winners in the next tier.
Belfast woman Iris Jeffrey currently holds the record in Northern Ireland having won £20.1m in 2004.
