Motorists are being advised to avoid the Ardress Road area of Portadown.
It comes after a tree has fallen on to electric wires.
The road is closed and a number of diversions are currently in place.
Police are advising motorists of dangers given the high winds.
A spokesperson said:”With weather warnings for strong winds in some areas, motorists – throughout the country – are asked to exercise caution and to plan and allow extra time for journeys.”
