Appeal after night creeper steals scrambler bike from shed in Portadown

Police are appealing for witnesses after a creep snatched a scrambler bike from a shed in Portadown in the dead of night earlier this week.

Officers are appealing not only for witnesses, or anyone with information to come forward, but for property owners to be aware of a suspicious individuals lurking about late at night.

The scrambler bike was taken from a shed in the area of Horse Shoe Lane, Portadown at approximately 2am Thursday, February 23.

Horse Shoe Lane is a small rural road which backs onto a towpath along the Cusher River, close to Moneypenny’s Lock.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “If you noticed any suspicious behaviour in this area or the area of the tow path, please contact police on 101 quoting reference 838 of 24/02/23.”
