A masked man wielding a hammer ran at the occupants of a car in a Portadown car park on Sunday evening.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following the unsavoury incident shortly before 7.30pm.
It was reported that a person wearing a mask and carrying a hammer, exited a white van parked near the collection and deliveries area of ASDA, Portadown and ran towards persons in a car.
The car drove off but a black Landrover Discovery attempted to block their exit from the car park.
No persons were physically harmed during this incident but police have asked for anyone who was in the Asda car park around this time, and/or who may have dash cam footage, to come forward.
