Air Ambulance called following two vehicle crash in Portadown

There was a two vehicle collision in Portadown earlier today (Wednesday).

Emergency crews, including the NI Air Ambulance, attended the scene on the Mahon Road, close to the Markethill Road junction at around 3pm.

It was reported that a Seat Alhambra and an Audi A4 had collided and one of the drivers sustained an injury which is not thought to have been serious.

The road remained open to traffic but there was significant disruption on the road for a number of hours, into the early evening.

Police are continuing their enquiries into the collision.

There are no further details at this stage.
