Air Ambulance NI is delighted to acknowledge the tremendous support of David Jameson Roofing, who marked an impressive 40 years in business by organising a charity golf day at Portadown Golf Club.
The event raised an outstanding £4000 which will help keep the Air Ambulance flying.
This kind donation will cover nearly half a day of operations for the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS), a significant contribution to ensuring the medical team can reach critically ill and injured patients anywhere in Northern Ireland.
Carrie Jameson of David Jameson Roofing, added: “Celebrating 40 years in business is a huge milestone for our team, and we wanted to mark it in a way that would give something meaningful back to the community.
“Air Ambulance NI provides a vital service that any one of us may depend on someday, so supporting their work felt like the right choice. We’re proud of what was raised on the day and grateful to everyone who contributed.”
The milestone event brought together colleagues, clients, suppliers, and friends for a day of friendly competition and celebration.
The strong turnout and generosity of those involved contributed to a fantastic fundraising total that will make a meaningful impact on the charity’s work.
Bébhionn Hardy, Community Fundraising Coordinator, at Air Ambulance NI, expressed her appreciation: “We are so grateful to David Jameson Roofing for choosing to support our charity as part of their 40-year celebrations.
“This donation represents a remarkable commitment to helping us deliver critical care when it’s needed most. We extend warm congratulations to the company on their anniversary and heartfelt thanks for their generosity.”
