Police thank public after stolen chair located in charity shop

Police in Portadown would like to thank the public for their assistance with a recent appeal after a stolen chair was located in a charity shop.

Constable Arlene Wells said police had issued a press appeal in December after a stolen antique wooden chair was taken from a vacant property in Portadown.

“Following the appeal a member of the public contacted us to inform us that the chair had been located in a charity shop,” she said.

“I would like to thank that member of the public for their support and help in enabling us to locate the stolen item.”
