Police in Portadown are appealing for information following an altercation between two groups on the evening of Saturday 9 August. At approximately 8.40pm police received a report of the altercation at a station in the Woodhouse Street area. When police attended a short time later, there were no ongoing incidents.
Investigating officer, Constable Hughes stated: “I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact Mahon Road Police Station on the non emergency number 101. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111”.
