POLICE in south Armagh have issued a fresh appeal for information following a fire at a property on the Lake Road near Crossmaglen back in March.
This evening, (Wednesday), a spokesman for the PSNI said the fire is now believed to have been started deliberately in the early afternoon of March 13.
The blaze caused extensive damage to a partially built house.
Said the spokesman: “Police would ask anyone who witnessed any activity at the property on this date or who has any information about the fire to contact them at Newtownhamilton on 0845 600 8000. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
