Phone stolen from handbag as woman unloaded shopping into her

Police in Craigavon are appealing for information following the theft of a mobile phone.

Around 8.15pm on Saturday, 5 April, a woman was unloading shopping into her car at a supermarket car park on Highfield Road when she drove off, leaving her handbag hanging on a trolley.

The female returned a short time later to find her handbag had been handed in to customer services in the supermarket. A Samsung Galaxy Note mobile phone was missing from the handbag.

Police are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to this incident to contact them in Craigavon on the 101 non-emergency number, quoting ref: 924060414.
