Nursery burgled over the course of a weekend

A children’s nursery was targeted and vandalised by burglars over the course of a weekend.

And police in Banbridge are appealing for information following the incident.

Sometime between 5pm on Friday, 12 June and 8am on Monday, 15 June, damage was caused to a number of items in the play area of a nursery school on Primrose Gardens.

A number of sheds and stores were entered and a wire fence was also damaged.

Sergeant David Patterson said: “We would like to hear from anyone who noticed activity around the school over the weekend or who has  information that may assist our investigation.

“We can be contacted in Banbridge on 101, quoting ref: 206 150615.”
