One new Covid-19 death reported from May 30 – zero in last 24 hours

There has been one further death from Covid-19 in northern Ireland, the Department of Health has confirmed.

It brings its total to 536.

It says the death happened on May 30.

Earlier, the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (Nisra) published its latest figures which includes all fatalities where Covid-19 is mentioned on a death certificate.

By May 29, it had recorded 757 deaths in total.

Of this total, 381 (50.3%) took place in hospital, 328 (43.3%) in care homes, eight (1.1%) in hospices and 40 (5.3%) at residential addresses or other locations.
