There have been 319 further Covid-19 cases in Northern Ireland reported today (Saturday), according to the Department of Health.
One person has also died from the virus in the last 24 hours with the death toll now at 578.
The total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 10,542.
In the last seven days, 1,396 people have tested positive for the virus.
In the Republic of Ireland today, there were five more reported deaths from the coronavirus.
Elsewhere, there were a number of protests across the UK in relation to government restrictions and what has been described as a “manufactured pandemic”.
And hundreds of mask-free protestors gathered at Stormont to express their objections to measures in place, use of face masks and any potential vaccines.
Protesters called for an end to “fear-mongering”.

Earlier today, Health Minister Robin Swann said: “Today’s dashboard figures underline once again the seriousness of the situation we are facing.
“Another person has sadly died and the number of positive cases is the highest on record.
“Please follow the public health advice to protect yourself and others.”
