There have been 89 more confirmed cases

The number of coronavirus-related deaths in Northern Ireland now stands at 118 – up 11 from Saturday.

And there have been 89 more confirmed cases.

These are the latest figures made available on Easter Sunday by the Public Health Agency.

There have now been a total of 1,806 confirmed cases in Northern Ireland.

People are again being reminded to stay at home this Easter Sunday and not to meet up with family and friends who do not live in the same house.

Police are warning they will be out and about to check restrictions are being adhered to.

A spokesperson reminded that leaving the house to exercise is permitted but added: “Necessary exercise starts at your front door.

“If you make the choice to travel unnecessarily you could face a fine of £60.”
