A woman has died following a collision on the M1 late on Saturday night.
The female pedestrian died following the accident near Belfast.
The crash happened just after 10pm last night, closing the road until early this morning.
Inspector John Millar has made an appeal for information from anyone travelling in the area at that time.
He said: “The collision happened on the M1 motorway eastbound, at Dunmurry Lane just after 10pm last night.”
“We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact police on the non-emergency number 101.”
