A public consultation into the location of a new play park in Newtownhamilton will take place later this week.
Residents are being urged to attend the event on Thursday, August 2 at Newtownhamilton Community Centre, between 7-9pm.
Representatives from Playboard NI and Newry, Mourne & Down District Council will be in attendance, with an artist’s impression of how the play park might look on display.
Residents’ questions and queries will also be answered on the night.
This is the final chance for the local community to have their say as to the location of the play park, as recommendations have to be submitted before Monday, August 6.
As such, it is very important that as many residents as possible, who wish to have their opinions heard, attend this consultation.
