Newtownhamilton Community Centre launches Christmas programme

Newtownhamilton

Newtownhamilton Community Association has launched a Festive Programme, giving the local community the opportunity to get into the festive spirit.

Kicking off the festivities will be a Christmas Flower Arranging Demonstration which will take place on Friday 06th December at 7.30pm. Floral Tutor, Kay Casey will demonstrate eight different Christmas arrangements. Refreshments will be provided and the arrangements will be awarded as prizes at the end of the night. Admission £10.

As it’s the most wonderful time of the year! You can also join us for our fantastic Santa Sunday as we welcome Father Christmas to Newtownhamilton on Sunday 08th December at 6.30pm, children will be able to meet Santa and join the Christmas Party. Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Chairperson, Charlie Casey will also officially switch on the Christmas Tree Lights.

The Association has also organised a festive treat for our Senior Citizens. A home cooked four course Christmas Dinner will be served in Newtownhamilton Community Centre on Sunday 15th December at 3.00pm. Tickets cost £7.00 and can be ordered by contacting 07709145329.

Come along and join us for more fun activities for all the family including making your own Christmas Cards, Christmas Decorations and much more at SureStart’s Christmas Arts and Crafts Session from 11am-1pm on Wednesday 18th December. Contact SureStart on 028 30830022 for more information.
