A female pedestrian was injured after been struck by a car on St Patrick’s Day.
Police in Newry are appealing for information following the hit and run road traffic collision.
Shortly before 8pm on Thursday, March 17, a 22-year-old female was crossing the road at the canal side entrance of The Quays when she was struck by a silver BMW.
The car did not stop and drove on. The female sustained an injury to her foot.
A number of people provided assistance to the female and police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or has information that may assist their investigation to contact them on 101, quoting ref: 1303 170316.
