A vehicle stopped on the A1 dual-carriageway at the weekend was found to have over £1,000 in stolen cleaning products, alongside counterfeit Scottish £50 notes.
The silver Toyota Corolla was stopped by Road Policing Interceptors on Saturday evening as the vehicle and its occupants had been reported as being involved in several incidents in recent days in Newry and Banbridge.
Two males and a female were arrested in relation to theft and tendering counterfeit currency and are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
