Emergency services are currently dealing with a serious road traffic collision in Newry this morning (Tuesday).
Motorists are being advised to avoid the Warrenpoint Road following the two-vehicle crash.
The carriageway is currently closed in both directions and diversions are in place. Please seek an alternative route for your journey.
A NI Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson told Armagh I the incident involved three vehicles.
Crews were called to the scene on the Warrenpoint Road at 10.05am
Three appliances are in attendance – two from Newry and one from Warrenpoint. The incident is ongoing.
Midday update: The Warrenpoint-bound lane has now reopened.
