Two people were taken to hospital following a collision outside Newry on Sunday night.
Police have this morning (Monday) appealed for witnesses in relation to a report of the single vehicle road traffic collision which occurred on the Newry Road, Hilltown, at around 9.45pm.
Officers attended the scene together with colleagues from the emergency services.
The driver and a passenger were taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries, which are serious but not believed to be life threatening.
The Newry Road, which had been closed for a period of time, has now re-opened.
Police enquiries are ongoing, and we would ask anyone who was in the area at the time, and might have any mobile phone or dash cam footage, or any other information which might assist, to get in touch.
