
Detectives investigating two serious assaults in Rathfriland on Sunday July 20, have charged three people to court.
A 23-year-old man has been charged with two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, false imprisonment, theft, theft of a vehicle and robbery, with a 25-year-old woman charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, false imprisonment, robbery, theft and theft of a vehicle.
A 29-year-old man has also been charged with a number of offences, including two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, false imprisonment, non-fatal strangulation, theft, theft of a vehicle and robbery.
All three will appear before Newry Magistrates Court today, Tuesday July 22.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
