A large fire caused extensive damage to an agricultural shed outside Newry last night (Wednesday).
Firefighters spent over two hours tackling the blaze, which ripped through a shed on the Armagh Road shortly after 9pm.
Police were forced to close the road for a period as a safety precaution, with motorists being diverted away.
Four appliances in total; two from Newry, one from Rathfriland and a water tanker from Warrenpoint were called into operation.
A Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue spokesperson told Armagh I that the 30x20m shed housed tractors and farm equipment which were damaged in the fire.
The incident was dealt with and concluded at 11.25pm.
There was no official cause of the blaze but it is believed to have been accidental.
