Sum of money stolen from popular Newry family entertainment centre

Police have responded to a burglary at a popular Newry-based family entertainment centre.

It is believed the Sheepbridge Family Entertainment Centre on the Belfast Road area of the city was broken into sometime between 3pm on Wednesday May 7 and 1.15pm on Thursday May 8.

I was reported that entry was gained to a property in the area and that a sum of money was taken during the incident.

A spokesperson for the Sheepbridge centre said: “Our premises was broken into last night, we just want to thank them for the damage they have caused!

“Just be careful and keep ahead of the thugs who try to ruin people’s livelihood and hard work!”
