The area of the Albert Basin in Newry, from the William Street Bridge towards Fathom Line, is currently closed.
Police and other emergency services are currently at the scene of an ongoing incident.

Sinn Féin MP Dáire Hughes has also urged the public to follow police instructions and avoid the area while emergency services deal with the incident.
The Newry and Armagh MP Dáire Hughes said: “We are asking the public to follow police guidance, avoid the area, and use alternative routes.
“I am in contact with the police and will provide updates to residents as more information becomes available.
“It is vital that we give Emergency Services the time and space to carry out their work, and I encourage the community to remain vigilant and patient during this time.”
