A road has been closed in Newry following the discovery of a “suspicious object”.
A section of Commons School Road and Bettys Hill Road has been closed following the discovery of a suspicious object in the area, police have confirmed.
A PSNI spokesman said: “Diversions are in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes for their journey.
“There are no further details at this time.”
