There has been a collision on the A1.
Police say they are dealing with a serious crash on the A1 northbound this afternoon (Saturday).
The incident took place somewhere between Newry and Loughbrickland where the northbound carriageway has been closed as a result.
Motorists are being advised that diversions are in place.
There are no further details at this stage.
