Range Rover and jewellery stolen in south Armagh house burglary

A Range Rover was among items stolen from a house in South Armagh.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the burglary of a residential premises that occurred on the Carrickbroad Road, Killeavy in the Newry area.

It was reported between the hours of 6:30pm on Thursday, September 22 and 9pm on Friday, September 23, entry was gained to a residential premises.

A blue Range Rover sport was taken, along with gaming consoles and a number of jewellery items.

Constable O’Doherty said : “I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact Newtownhamilton Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1332 on 23/09/16.

“Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
