Police investigating thefts at Buttercrane Shopping Centre in Newry

Buttercrane Shopping Centre, Newry

Police are seeking to identify a number of persons as part of an investigation into a theft at Buttercrane Shopping Centre in Newry.

It happened on Saturday, September 7.

A police spokesperson said: “We are looking to identify three males who were near the Buttercrane Quay entrance and approached by two teenage females at approximately 5.30pm.”

The three males are all described as teenagers and were dressed in black.

One of the females was 5’7″ in height with shoulder-length hair. She was wearing a white top, grey hoodie and black trousers.

The other female had long black hair and was wearing a Celta Vigo football top and cream leggings.

The police spokesperson continued: “If you can assist with this enquiry please contact 101 quoting reference number 1448 – 07/09/24.”
