An investigation has been launched following the sudden death of a person in Newry.
Emergency services were called to a property in the Sandys Street area of the city late on Sunday afternoon.
Forensics were also spotted coming from the scene throughout the evening.
A police spokesperson said: “Police in Newry received a report of a sudden death at an address in Sandys Street on Sunday, June 2.
“A post mortem is to be held in due course to establish the cause of death.
“Enquiries are ongoing, and there are no further details at this stage.”
