An investigation has been launched following a serious sexual assault in Newry in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police crews descended on the Kiln Street/Barcroft Park area of the city following the report shortly before 5am on Saturday, January 18.
Enquiries are ongoing and police are appealing to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area or who may have CCTV or other footage to make contact with police on 101, quoting reference number 194 of 18/01/25.
