An investigation has been launched following a burglary in Newry earlier this week.
It was reported that between 12pm on Thursday 16 and 5pm on Friday, January 17 entry was gained to an unoccupied residential property in the Ashfield Avenue area.
Jewellery and a sum of money are reported to be missing.
Detectives from thePSNI’s Criminal Investigations Department are appealing for information and witnesses.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information including dash-cam, mobile or CCTV footage of the area or who may have witnessed suspicious activity during this time are asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1412 17/01/25.
