Police have launched an appeal for information after a person was assaulted and had their phone and cash stolen in Newry.
It happened on December 30 last year at approximately 8pm in ‘The Tunnels’ area of the city, which is a pedestrian underpass under Abbey Way.
It is believed that four males, wearing jeans and hoodies, were involved in the incident, after which they fled with a mobile phone and a quantity of cash.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “If you were in the area at the time or witnessed these persons or have Dash Cam footage, please contact police on 101 quoting reference 1492 31/12/2023.”
